Josephine Christmas CA
Josephine was raised in the rural community of Emerald, Central Qld. Whilst qualified as both a Chartered Accountant and a Certified Practicing Accountant, Josephine has continued to have a personal, family and professional business association with various primary production industries and associations.
This experience and knowledge has depth, covering such industry sectors as:
- Livestock both herd and stud - cattle, horse, sheep and alpaca
- Viticulture - wine and table grape production
- Farming - including broadacre
- Fruit, vegetable and small crop production
- Dairy and Fishing
- Hay production
- Contractors servicing the rural industries
Although the working week is spent engaged as an Accountant and Business Advisor, Josephine enjoys nothing more than spending time on her own farm breeding alpacas and sheep on the beautiful Fleurieu Penisula. Josephine also serves in a voluntary capacity with associations at Local, State and National levels.
Josephine has skills that range from being able to sit down with people considering starting a business through to those that need a person to facilitate meetings on issues such as succession planning, business development or changing business directions.
Josephine takes the time to understand your goals, concerns and current situation to be able to give you the best possible advice.

Dale Volling FCA
Dale has been a qualified accountant and registered tax agent since 1983, having obtained tertiary qualifications from the Central Queensland University.
Dale is a fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Australia, member of National Tax and Accountants Association and a registered tax agent.
Born and bred in Central Queensland, Dale has been servicing the small businesses of the Central Queensland region for over twenty years. Some of the industries and professions to which Dale has vast experience include:-
- Medical professionals such as general practitioners, specialists, dentists and veterinary surgeons
- Retail
- Building and construction including registered builders, plumbers and drainers, machinery operators and so on
- Motor Vehicle servicing and repairs
- Trucking Haulage Contractors
- Primary Producers.
Dale is happily married with two children and enjoys the quality of life Central Queensland has to offer.

Neil Malick Affiliate ICAA CPA
The firm’s newest partner. Neil had been employed within the firm in a senior position for 10 years prior to being admitted as a partner as of 1st July 2009. Prior to coming to Christmas & Volling Neil worked in several local accounting firms for in excess of 10 years.
Neil was born in New South Wales but moved to the Capricorn coast at a very young age becoming a true Queenslander many years ago. Neil has lived in Rockhampton since 1991.
Neil achieved the status of Certified Practicing Accountant (CPA) in year 2000. Over the years Neil has had vast experience with a wide variety of industries and businesses including primary producers, retail outlets such as hardware stores, computer retailing, building trades, superannuation funds just to name a few. Information technology is another forte’ of Neil’s being responsible for the firm’s IT system and attending to client’s IT needs.
Today Neil is happily married with 3 children and loves nothing more than spending quality "family time" with all of them.
